Volunteering at the Mothers’ Union has been one of the most serious and interesting projects on my path.Even the smallest, good deed will always be noticed and appreciated. One of my present goals in life is to help the littlest ones who are suffering. With the start of each new day I wonder if someone got better and who else might need help. When I started volunteering for this Foundation I realised that seeing a smile on a child’s face evokes an incredible feeling that stays with me for a day, a week or the entire year. There is no need for any words because their eyes shining with joy tell you everything you need to know.
I used to think that interacting with sick children would be uncomfortable, but now I see that on the contrary, it is a wonderful feeling when you can laugh with the children. They are the sunshine of our lives. I never thought that even the smallest deed done for the kids will make my heart burst from joy! I guide the children forward and protect them from stepping back and succumb to the illness.
